Getting the Balance Right

GTBR8.jpg"There is never enough time to do everything but there is always enough time to do the most important thing”.

We all perform and feel at our best when we have balance in our lives. This balance can be disrupted when you feel pressure as a result of lack of time to complete tasks, lack of understanding of your role and having to deal with constant change. Conflicting priorities, long work hours and the demands of parenting can add to this pressure. ‘Me time’ can seem a luxury rather than a necessity in life.

Getting the Balance Right has been designed to help you gain the most from your work life and the time you spend away from the work place. As desired life balance varies from person to person, this programme devotes time to assessing individual needs and providing tools and solutions to achieve that balance.
A three step approach

Step one: Developing an awareness of the current situation.
• Take a close look at the current make up of your life and examine how this differs from the way you would like it to be.

Step two: Deciding how you wish your life to be.
• What does Getting the Balance Right mean to you?
• What would your ideal life look like?
• What is important to you and what do you want as your focus?

Step three: Bridging the gap
• Planning to make the necessary changes, identifying resources, staying on track.

Through careful and thought provoking questions Getting the Balance Right explores how you experience your world, what motivates you and what may be holding you back from making changes. The programme encourages you to challenge your own thoughts and ideas, fears and aspirations, values and beliefs as you move towards realising balance in all areas of life.

A combination of discussions, presentations and one-to-one coaching with qualified life coaches is employed. Real situations are addressed and solutions sought that can be applied for positive effect.

A coaching approach rather than tutoring is used (questions asked to promote discussion rather than lecture). You can therefore take ownership of your decisions and benefit from your choices and commitment to move forward.

Events held throughout the year.
